Slumdog Millionaire ... winner of 8 Oscars

Slumdog Millionaire is about a movie of love , sacrifice and triumph over hardships and most important of all, DESTINY. Directed by Danny Boyle, the story was adapted from a novel entitled, Q & A written by Vikas Swarup. Nominated for 10 Oscars, the movies has movie 8 of them, beating the likes of The Curios Case of Benjamin Button and The Dark Knight. They are Best Picture, Best Director, Best Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay (Adaptation) and other 2 awards ,Best Original Score (Music) and Best Original Score (Song) to A R Rahman (The Mozart of Chennai) for his works on this movie.
